Vanessa Kilik (seated) was among four groups of authors at the June 14 “Children's Reading Day with Colorado Children's Authors” at the Old Colorado City History Center. The Old Colorado City Historical Society organized the event, in which the writers had a chance to meet the public and read from their works. Kilik is the author of "My Snow Globe Book." Also featured were Joan Musick (the “Reverse Book” series); Sally Burr and Gail Ross (the “Black Forest Friends” series); and Kenyon, Therese, Travers and Rioux Jordan (the "Quest for Bunny Island" novel).
