Exhibit of then/now Glenn Murray photo scenes Oct. 27-Dec. 15 Oct. 16, 2018The late Glen Murray took numerous photos of scenes around Colorado Springs from the early 1930s to the mid-1960s. A new book, published by long-time Old Colorado City Historical Society (OCCHS) member Don Kallus, features many of those photos, matched with views of the same scenes in modern times. A show is scheduled Friday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. at Centennial Hall, 200 S. Cascade Ave. downtown, with an exhibit there through Dec. 15. “Colorado Springs: A Changing Landscape” is the book's title. The current photos were taken by eight student and alumni photographers from Pikes Peak Community College. This is the second show that Kallaus, head of Rhyolite Press, has presented featuring prints he made from Murray negatives. Kallaus' “CityWorks 2.0” in 2015 was a benefit for the OCCHS.
