Feedback on 'Yellow Book' sought by Area Agency on Aging at Dec. 5 meeting

Nov. 27, 2017
The El Paso County public meeting on the “yellow book” for seniors will be held Tuesday, Dec. 5 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG) building, 14 S. Chestnut St.
Formally titled the Senior Information and Assistance Directory, the free publication lists services for older adults in El Paso, Teller, and Park counties.
The meeting will be hosted by the PPACG's Area Agency on Aging, which is funded through the federal Older Americans Act and the State of Colorado. The meeting for Park and Teller counties is scheduled Dec. 7 at the Woodland Park Senior Center.
The agency prints an updated version of the “yellow book” annually. The 2017 printing consisted of 25,000 copies.
“We hope to get feedback on the ways it is most frequently used, any challenges, and anything else consumers would like to share,” a PPACG press release states.
For more information, call the agency's Senior Information and Assistance Hotline at 471-2096.
