A different genre each show in weekly Gold Hill Mesa concerts

Gold Hill Mesa will present its third annual concert series on consecutive Saturdays in late August and September.
Free and open to the public, the shows will feature a live band (each with a different genre) playing weekly from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the Green outside the Westside development's community building off Gold Hill Mesa and Raven Mine Drives.
Scheduled performers (genre in parentheses) are: Aug. 23, Joe Moss (blues); Aug. 30, Mo' Mungus (reggae); Sept. 6, Dennis Bueno (Latin); Sept. 13, Davina & The Vagabonds (soul); Sept. 20, Grass It Up (bluegrass); Sept; 27, Atomic Fireballs (country).
Food and drink vendors will be on hand. Proceeds will be donated to the Catamount Institute, whose focus on energy efficiency is shared by the Gold Hill Mesa development group, according to a spokesperson.
