Gold Hill offers free, outdoor concerts Saturdays through Sept. 30 The Gold Hill Mesa development is offering its annual late-summer series of free live concerts Saturdays from Aug. 12 to Sept. 30.The location for “Sizzlin Saturday Concerts” - as it's being called this year - will be the sloping, grassy area known as the Green, outside Gold Hill's Community Center at 142 S. Raven Mine Drive. Access is off Lower Gold Camp Road, between 8th and 21st streets, or from Gold Hill Mesa Drive, off 21st Street. The event time frame is advertised as 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. On-street parking is available in the neighborhood. Popular movies will be shown after the concerts Aug. 19 and 26 and Sept. 2 and 9, according to a press release.
