Historical Society offers annual ‘Haunt,’ 2 other programs

“Learn about murder, poisoning, accidents, red light district, upstanding and not so nice citizens that made up the history of Old Colorado City… and it's all true.”

The Old Colorado City Historical Society presented Tunnel Tales in July - a playful look at unique aspects of the once-wild western town's past. Portraying temperance ladies at far left in the 2500 block of Colorado Avenue are Marilyn Lee (with sign) and Sandy Hanzlian. The gaudily dressed foursome are (from their left) Darcy Hoffman, Lori Atencio, Theresa Lambert and Jennie Frisbee.
