Year-long Fountain Creek flood restoration study to start in January
The year-long effort is intended to develop master plans to restore both watersheds, which were damaged by flooding last summer, a city press release states. Fountain Creek also has issues with its Waldo Canyon Fire burn area. For Fountain Creek, the plan will comprise the segment from its origin in the Woodland Park area to its confluence downstream with Monument Creek. The study will cost $437,500, with funding from several government sources. From a press release |
