Citizens sought for new county outreach committee
The Board of El Paso County County Commissioners has approved the formation of a volunteer committee to advise the
commissioners on issues that are important to the community and to receive updates from the county.
Called the Citizen Outreach Group (COG), the committee will be made up of nine citizen members appointed by the board. A member will be chosen from each of the five commissioner districts (including District 3, which includes the Westside); there will also be four at-large members and two non-voting alternate positions. Citizens interested in serving on this new committee should contact Fran St. Germaine at 520-6436 by Oct. 7. From a press release |
