OCC district worker recovering from illness

Dave Porter, the maintenance man for the Old Colorado City Security & Maintenance District, was released from the hospital Sept. 2 after being treated for a severe
case of pneumonia for more than a week.
He is expected to continue recuperating for about three weeks. In the meantime, other Colorado Springs Parks employees will take over maintenance duties in the three-block district, according to a district spokesperson. Westside Pioneer from press release |
