Duplexes at angled intersection
Two three-bedroom duplexes are being built at the angled intersection of 26th Street and Westend Avenue.
They will be “Santa Fe style” in appearance, with flat roofs and xeriscape landscaping, according to owner/developer Ron Hall, the owner of Peak and Prairie Homes who helped build the nearby Broadway Bluffs subdivision. Because 26th is higher than Westsend, the duplexes will look like one-story units from 26th and two-story from Westend. Entrances will be onto 26th Street. Garage entry will be from Westend, Hall said. Extensive dirt relocation was required to prepare the small, steep site for residences, Hall said. Sidewalk and curb and gutter will be installed in front of the property on both streets. Availability will be about Nov. 1, Hall said. Westside Pioneer article |
