Long-time Westsider to talk about ways to document the past at History Center Sept. 9

Alma Moser, a Westside resident for 58 years, will discuss preserving family history at the Old Colorado City History Center Friday, Sept. 9, at 11 a.m.
The free presentation is titled “If Walls Could Talk!” or “Preserving Family Histories - A Gift for Generations to Come.” The center is at 1 S. 24th St.
“A conversation with Alma Moser - sharing memories of her experiences as a mother, a pastor's wife, and a Westside resident since l947, will illustrate useful techniques and secrets to help capture your own personal legacy,” reads a press release from the volunteer Old Colorado City Historical Society (OCCHS), which operates the center and is sponsoring the event. “Bring your neighbors and friends to hear these unique as well as everyday stories.”
The History Center opens at 10 a.m. for refreshments and museum visitation. For more information, call 636-1225.
