Meet a Westsider:
Marge Knorr

Profession/Occupation... Domestic engineer/jack of all trades & master of none.

What I like most about the Westside is... its small-town feeling. (Every-one knows everyone else’s business.)

If I could change anything about the Westside, it would be... nothing, I wouldn’t have moved here otherwise. Oh, we could use a hardware store close by.

A good movie I’ve seen recently is... this isn’t the most recent, as I seldom go to the movies but I thoroughly enjoyed “Moon Struck.”

The worst advice I’ve ever gotten was... I can’t think of a thing!

If I could meet someone famous, I’d like to meet... President Bush.

The next time I travel, I’m going to... anywhere. My motto is “Have tent, will travel.”

My favorite childhood memory is... going to pick out and buy a Christmas tree and walking home with it. It was four blocks each way. Uphill on the way there and downhill back.

My favorite summer pastime is... anything outdoors! I enjoy hiking, biking, camping and gardening.

Something good I’ve read is.. “Brothels, Bordellos & Bad Girls,” by Jan MacKell.

My pet peeve is... tailgaters and those drivers who wait until they are at the corner, then turn on their directionals.

If I won the lottery, I’d... take a trip to Italy in search of my family and split it between our four children then give to our church.

Meet a Westsider” is a regular feature in the Westside Pioneer. If you would like to be a Meet-a-Westsider (or know someone who should be), please give us a call at 471-6776.
