Lippincott, Rucker to get ‘arrested’ Aug. 3 for MDA cause

Dave Lippincott, owner of Surplus City Outdoors, has a jail cell displayed outside his store, and now he is one of two Westside figures facing “jail time” as part of a Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) fund-raising campaign.
Also soon to be “arrested” is E.D. Rucker, director of the West Intergenerational Center.
Each is trying to raise $1,800 for the cause.
“Your donation would help MDA continue the fight against muscular dystrophy,” Rucker said.
To help “bail out” either of these individuals by the Aug. 3 deadline, contact the local MDA at 260-8777.
