Colorado Day picnic Aug. 1 at Thorndale Park

The seventh annual Colorado Day Picnic will be Wednesday, Aug. 1 at Thorndale Park, 24th and Uintah streets from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
According to organizer Victor Shephard, “Everyone is invited to come, as hot dogs and sodas will be provided.” However, he requests that attendees bring a side dish or dessert. The gathering commemorates Colorado's joining the union in 1876. “Bring some friends and enjoy a great Colorado tradition,” Shephard said. From a press release |
