Thorndale site of annual Colorado Day picnic

Victor Shephard's eighth annual Colorado Day Picnic will be Friday, Aug. 1 at Thorndale Park, located at 24th and Uintah streets, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
He invites people to come for barbecued hot dogs and sodas. There is no charge, but attendees are asked to bring a side dish or dessert. The event commemorates Colorado's joining the union in 1876. Westside Pioneer/press release |
