July 20 date for OWN picnic

The Westside Neighbors Picnic will be this Saturday, July 20 at the Westside Community Center, 1628 W. Bijou St.
Going from noon to 2 p.m., the annual outdoor event will feature free barbecued food, beverages and side dishes, live music, a craft fair and presentation of the Spirit Awards by the Organization of Westside Neighbors (OWN), which also coordinates the picnic. A separate bicycle ride, free and open to the public will leave Vermijo Park at 10:30 a.m. and arrive at the picnic by noon.
