Merrifield slates walk through Midland precincts

District 18 State Rep. Michael Merrifield invites volunteers to join him for a “Neighborhood Walk & Ice Cream Social”
Saturday, July 16 from 1 to 4 p.m.
People are asked to meet at Midland Elementary, 2110 Broadway St., after which they will walk Precincts 51 and 306, then have the social. One goal is to answer questions about Initiatives C and D (in which the state government would keep TABOR tax refunds and use them for identified services and projects over a specified time), which will be on the November ballot.
