New automated county phones

El Paso County Commissioners have implemented a new phone number for county government - 520-PASO (7276). Calling
this number prompts a lengthy automated response - part of which explains that it is not the number for the county courthouse.
According to a county secretary, numerous calls to county offices used to be from people wanting to reach the courthouse.
Pressing “0” bypasses the automated response and connects callers with a receptionist who can connect them to the county's elected officials or departments. From a press release |
