Ivywild Elementary, 1064 S. Cascade Ave., which is closing after this school year, will have a closing event and rummage sale at the school Friday, June
5 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Donations are being accepted for the sale, with proceeds to send the students on a final field trip, according to Marilyn Eggleston, the school's community liaison. For more information, call 328-4355. Pike Elementary is one of two schools in District 11 that received a $250 cash award in a recent District 11 competition measuring the amount of voluntarism. |
