Head Start enrollment drive underway; Westside dates are June 8, July 13, Aug. 10

       Community Partnership for Child Development/Head Start, headquartered on the Westside, has begun community-wide “one- stop-shop enrollment events” for the free preschool and infant/toddler programs it will offer in the 2004-05 school year.
       The events, which allow families to finalize enrollment requirements, began earlier this month and will continue into August. A Westside location is scheduled for the last three events - at the Head Start office at 2330 Robinson St. June 8, July 13 and Aug. 10.
       Families must qualify to enroll; however, income is not a limiting factor for all programs, according to program spokesperson Jennifer Lange. Children with special needs are welcome.
