Special OCCA meeting addresses bylaw issues
A special meeting on four bylaw changes for the Old Colorado City Associates (OCCA) merchants group's membership is
scheduled at Puttin' on the Paint, 2501 W. Colorado Ave., Monday, April 11 at 8 a.m.
According to Kathy Osborn, owner of Puttin' on the Paint and former treasurer of the OCCA board, the proposed changes are intended to improve the operations of the OCCA. In keeping with existing bylaws, the proposed changes can be legally voted on by the membership because such was requested by at least 10 members, she said. Promoting the Old Colorado City shopping district, OCCA is a private organization, with a membership consisting of business people who are in the district or who support it. Westside Pioneer article |
