Meet a Westsider:
Isaiah

Profession/Occupation... Administrative assistant and security at the Bookman bookstore.

What I like most about the Westside is... the flora and fauna. Gotta love those trees.

If I could change anything about the Westside, it would be... the red hawk that flies near the Bookman. He looks at me in a funny way.

A good movie I’ve seen recently is... “The Birds,” but my human companion gets nervous when I watch it.

The worst advice I’ve ever gotten was... “Bite the hand that feeds you.” I found out that following that advice has negative consequences.

If I could meet someone famous, I’d like to meet... Big Bird!

The next time I travel, I’m going to... South America to trace my roots. My ancestors had the responsibility of sounding the alarm in the tropical forest.

My favorite childhood memory is... eating my first banana and sharing my first Dr. Pepper. Bananas are my favorite all time treat.

My favorite winter pastime is... fluffing out and preening my feathers in my cage with my stuffed animals. Fluffing out keeps me warm.

Something good I’ve read is.. “Jonathan Livingston Seagull,” “Watership Down,” and “To Kill a Mockingbird.”

My pet peeve is... being ignored or groomed by my human.

If I won the lottery, I’d... buy bananas and pay my human to stay home.
