Volunteers sought for Bear Creek Dog Park 'April Stools Day' cleanup April 2

Volunteers are welcome to help clean up the Bear Creek Dog Park in the annual April Stools Day Saturday, April 2 from 9 a.m. to noon. Buckets, bags and rubber gloves will be provided for the cleanup, but participants are asked to bring their own shovels or scoopers.
The event is coordinated by the Friends of Bear Creek Dog Park, in conjunction with El Paso County Parks.
The free, fenced, 20-acre open area is west of 21st Street at the T-intersection with Rio Grande Street. For more information or to volunteer in advance, call Dana Nordstrom at El Paso County Parks at 520-6983 or e-mail friendsofbcdpcs@gmail.com.
