Old Town residents invited to Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Bancroft

The annual Old Colorado City Associates (OCCA) Easter Egg Hunt will offer “a little bit more” this year, according to OCCA President Nancy Stovall.
The date/time will be Saturday, March 26 at 12:30 p.m. in Bancroft Park. Especially intended for the business district's surrounding neighborhoods, the event will offer the traditional egg hunt as well as a balloon twister, face painter and (snack popularity dependent on the weather) ice cream and hot chocolate from local businesses. Small children can ride on a small carousel for $1 each.
And, of course, the Easter Bunny will be on hand, Stovall said.
       Starting time is 12:30 p.m.
“It should be fun,” she said. “We hope for good weather.”
The “eggs” will be made of plastic, containing candy, little toys and/or slips of paper listing prizes available in the pavilion that day or at different merchants' places of business.
Ages 8 and under (including babies) are welcome to attend with their parents and families. The meeting place will be the pavilion in the center ot the park.
