The Coronado High/District 11 robotics team hosted a regional scrimmage Feb. 15 at the Wasson
Academics Campus. According to Coronado applied technology chair Bryce McLean, about 17 schools participated. "We feel the
scrimmage went well," he said. "Teams had the opportunity to test out their robots and see if the strategies they have developed for playing
the game truly apply when there are three robot alliances competing against each other. For many teams, this may be the only time before the
Colorado regional in Denver April 3-5 that they get to run their robot with and against others." (Photo posted 2/19/14.)
