‘Reflections’ author to speak at History Center

Nancy Thaler, the special-collections librarian for the Pikes Peak Library District, will talk about the region's historical photographs at the Old Colorado City History Center Friday, Feb. 11.
The presentation will begin at 11 a.m. at the History Center, 1 South 24th St. Admission is free, but donations are welcomed.
Thaler's program will address the photos she used in co-authoring “Reflections,” a perpetual calendar being sold as a fund-raiser for the library district, as well as the History Center's collection of historical photographs. Many photographs will be on display.
The History Center, owned and operated by the volunteer Old Colorado City Historical Society (OCCHS), will open at 10 a.m. for coffee and museum visitation.
