Early Colorado hotels to be topic Feb. 9 at History Center
“Five in a Bed - Tales of Early Colorado Hotels” is the title of a presentation on old Colorado hotels at the Old Colorado City History Center Friday, Feb. 9, at 11
a.m.
The speaker will be Mary Humphreys, a retired teacher who volunteers at the McAllister House Museum, the Pikes Peak Museum in Florissant and the Fountain Creek Nature Center. The title comes from a posted list of rules of the house in an old hotel. The program will be free, although donations are requested.
