Simpich presents 'Great Expectations' Feb. 5-19
Puppeteer David Simpich's original adaptation of Charles Dickens' 1861 novel, “Great Expectations,” will run Feb. 5-19 at the Simpich Showcase Theatre, 2413 W. Colorado Ave.
Performances are at 7 p.m. Fridays and 2:30 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays.
The “actors” are marionettes made by Simpich, who himself will portray Dickens.
After the local engagement, the play is scheduled for a limited tour in Atlanta and the Midwest.
