CSPD announces 2014 citizen-training class schedule

       The Colorado Springs Police Department's Gold Hill station has released its schedule of citizen-training classes for 2014.
       Free and open to the public, all the classes will start at 6 p.m. at Gold Hill, 955 W. Moreno Ave., according to a press release.

       The list of classes and dates follows:
      
  • Feb. 13 -Homeless Outreach Team.       
  • March 4 -ID Theft Prevention.       
  • April 10 - Fire Safety/Prevention.       
  • May 8 - Office of Emergency Management.       
  • June 24 - Personal Safety.       
  • July 24 - Community Service Officer.       
  • Sept. 17 -Human Trafficking.       
  • Oct. 16 - Gang Presentation.       
  • Nov. 4 - Home Safety.
