Water line work on Chestnut

       Work continues on a Colorado Springs Utilities water line on Chestnut Street south of Ellston. Crews are digging a trench for a 24-inch line that will allow raw water to be piped to the Mesa Treatment Plan at Mesa Road and Fillmore Street. The water is stored in a city reservoir next to Monument Creek off Garden of the Gods Road.
