New Horizons Band 'informational coffee' Jan. 9

       The New Horizons Band of Colorado Springs will host an “informational coffee” Thursday, Jan. 9 at 9 a.m. in the gymnasium of the First Evangelical Free Church, 820 N. 30th St.
       A similar event will be held the same day at 7 p.m. at the Canon School in the Cheyenne area. Band leader Ed Nuccio is seeking “adults interested in resuming their interest in instrumental music,” a press release states. New Horizons fosters three bands, from intermediate to advanced levels.
