County commissioners on cable

The Board of El Paso County Commissioners recently approved an agreement with the Pikes Peak Library District that will allow cable TV viewers to watch their meetings on cable channel 17, starting next year.
The agreement calls for the district to broadcast each board meeting at 7 p.m. on the night of the meeting and repeat it during the week. Board meetings are Mondays and Thursdays at 9 a.m. in the hearing room at 27 East Vermijo Ave, Colorado Springs. Board meetings are currently broadcast over the internet at www.elpasoco.com.
“We are pleased to partner with the Pikes Peak Library District to enable more citizens to keep tabs on county government,” said Sallie Clark, chair of the El Paso County Board of Commissioners.
