What do you do?
Where do you work and what is your title?
My business is Healing Hypnosis Life Transforming Hypnotherapy. I am a former teacher with a masters degree and I am also a certified nutritionist and hypnotherapist.
What do you do there and/or what are you responsible for?
I help facilitate changes in peopleís lives through Reiki and hypnotherapy.
How long have you been doing this kind of work (total)? How long on the Westside?
Iíve had my business for 15 years. However, Iíve practiced much longer than that. Iíve been on the Westside for almost two years.
What do you like best about it (other than quitting time)?
The wonderful people that I get to meet and help. I enjoy seeing the transformation in people when they make the decision to seek my help in improving their lives and changing habits that they want to shed.
If you could change one thing (other than pay), what would it be?
To have a chance to work with more people in affirming their choice for positive changes in their lives.
What part of your work did your training/education never prepare you for?
It didnít prepare me for the diversity of people that I get to meet. I look at working with people as a privilege. Iíve been told that Iím a person they can trust and that I help them feel more at ease.
What makes working on the Westside special?
Iím from a town of 500 in South Dakota, and the Westside feels like home to me. Because people are friendly, it doesnít seem like a big city. Thereís a small-town feel here.
