End of semester, Christmas season inspire school performances

       Each of District 11's Westside schools will present seasonal student musical performances in the weeks leading up to the end of the first semester Dec. 20.
       Below is a chronological listing. All shows are open to the public. The locations are the respective schools, except where indicated.
       Dec. 4
       7 p.m., Holmes Middle School, 2455 Mesa Road. Jazz band (grades 7-8).
       Dec. 5
       6 p.m., Midland Elementary, 2110 W. Broadway St. Band and orchestra.
       7 p.m., Coronado High, 1590 W. Filllmore St. Wind ensemble and symphonic band.
       Dec. 9
       6 p.m., Midland Elementary. Music program (grades K-2).
       6:20 p.m., Holmes Middle School. Concert band (grades 6-8).
       6:30 p.m., West Elementary, 25 N. 20th St. Band and orchestra.
       7 p.m., Coronado High. Jazz band.
       Dec. 10
       6 p.m., Holmes Middle School. Drama production (grade 7).
       6:30 p.m. Bristol Elementary, 890 N. Walnut St. Orchestra and band.
       7 p.m., Coronado High. Choir. $3 (to pay accompanist).
       Dec. 11
       6 p.m., Howbert Elementary, 1023 N. 31st St. Winter musical (grades K-2) at Coronado auditorium.
       Dec. 12
       1:30 and 6:30 p.m., Jackson Elementary, 4340 Edwinstowe Ave. Musical - “One, Big, Happy Family” (grade 2).
       6 p.m., Buena Vista Elementary, 924 W. Pikes Peak Ave. Band and orchestra.
       6:30 p.m., Holmes Middle School. Orchestra winter concert.
