Street performers, Santa in Old Town on weekend days during Christmas season

Street entertainers will regale Old Colorado City shoppers starting Friday, Nov. 23 and continuing on weekends until just before Christmas.
Also starting Nov. 23 - and also sponsored by the Old Colorado City Associates (OCCA) business group - will be the annual Santa Claus in Bancroft Park's Garvin Cabin. Some of the OCCA's musicians will perform in businesses, some in public places. In public will be: Dec. 1 11 a.m.-noon, Victorian Society of Colorado Springs Carolers, strolling. Noon to 3 p.m., Pikes Peak Ringers (Adult Division), in Old Town Plaza. Noon to 5 p.m., Pikes Peak Youth Ringers, at Santa's Cabin. Dec. 2 Noon to 3 p.m., Original Dickens Carolers of Southern Colorado, strolling. 1 to 3 p.m., nVision Quartet - part of the Velvet Hills Show Chorus, strolling. Dec. 8 Noon to 5 p.m., Pikes Peak Youth Ringers, at Santa's Cabin. 1 p.m., Colorado Springs Children's Chorale in Bancroft Park. Dec. 9 1 to 4 p.m., Original Dickens Carolers of Southern Colorado, strolling. Dec. 15 Noon to 4 p.m., Colorado Springs Conservatory Band, at Santa's Cabin and corner of 25th and Colorado. 1 to 2 p.m., Institute for Cultural Communicators (5-minute plays), starting at Santa's Cabin. Dec. 16 11 a.m.-noon, Victorian Society of Colorado Springs Carolers, strolling. Dec. 22 Noon to 4 p.m., Colorado Springs Conservatory Band, at Santa's Cabin and corner of 25th and Colorado. Dec. 23 Noon to 3 p.m., Original Dickens Carolers of Southern Colorado, strolling. The Santa-in-Bancroft days will be Nov. 23, 24 and 25; and Dec. 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23 and 24.
