After some fierce winds the night of Nov. 9, merchants in the 2400 block of West Colorado Avenue near Colbrunn Court arrived the next morning to find unusual additions to the sidewalk trees. A nearby construction project was tentatively blamed, but the real answer may have been blowing in the wind.
