‘Party for pirates’ at conclusion of ‘Treasure Island’ reading Nov. 16

       “A party for all pirates” will follow the reading of the final chapter of “Treasure Island” at the Old Colorado City Library Tuesday, Nov. 16, according to a library press release.
       The activity will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the library, 2418 W. Pikes Peak Ave.
       Library personnel reading “Treasure Island” out loud to kids and parents has been a featured event at the library for the past few weeks.
       The following week, all Pikes Peak Library District libraries will close at 6 p.m. Wed., November 24, then be closed all day Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 25.
