Meet a Westsider:
Profession/Occupation... manager of Big Boyz Toyz.
What I like most about the Westside is... the sense of history and tradition... the big trees and the wonderful Victorian architecture. There is a story behind every old house and every old shop.
If I could change anything about the Westside, it would be... to stop the development of the foothills. I donít enjoy seeing all those houses spoiling the scenery.
A good movie Iíve seen recently is... ďLittle Big Man.Ē Itís got to be one of Dustin Hoffmanís best performances ever. It was just as good as the first time I saw it 20 years ago.
The worst advice Iíve ever gotten was... you donít need to go to college Ė youíre going to be a rock star.
If I could meet someone famous, Iíd like to meet... Paul McCartney. Iíve always loved the Beatles, and he was a big influence on my bass- playing style. Iím fortunate enough to own a 1971 Hofner Beatle bass, and itís still one of my favorite basses to play.
The next time I travel, Iím going to... pack up my son and the camping gear and head west into Utah, Zion, Canyonlands, the Arches, Bryce Canyon... there are so many natural wonders to see there.
My favorite childhood memory is... all of us piling into the family station wagon, after dark, just before Christmas, to drive all over town and see all the Christmas lights and decorations.
My favorite fall pastime is... long, leisurely hikes in the mountains (followed closely by Bronco football.)
Something good Iíve read is.. ďThe Great Religions by Which Men LiveĒ... informative and enlightening reading.
My pet peeve is... the way people drive in this city. It seems that no one knows how to be a thoughtful or courteous driver.
If I won the lottery, Iíd... retire. Take care of family. Dedicate a lot of time to travel, music and art.
