Where do you work and what is your title?
       I am the owner of Jake & Telly’s Greek Cuisine & Wine Bar. My title is owner/secretary.
What do you do there and/or what are you responsible for?
       Everything and anything. Basically managing all aspects of the restaurant, from floor managing to financial management as well!
How long have you been doing this kind of work (total)? How long on the Westside?
       18 years total, 11 here on the Westside!
What do you like best about it (other than quitting time)?
       The energy we receive from our guests enjoying their experience with us! The freedom I have to enjoy my life outside of the restaurant.
If you could change one thing (other than pay), what would it be?
       To not be so seasonal. To have the place full of guests all year round. And if I owned the building, I’d have a separate room for catering private events.
What part of your work did your training/education never prepare you for?
       How to deal with different personalities on a day to day basis. How to turn a problem into a happy experience!
What makes working on the Westside special?
       The view of the mountains and the relaxed, down to earth feel from it’s residents.
