The fourth annual 3K run in bear suits will be Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Bear Creek Nature Center. Called the Bear Run, the fundraising run/walk's route uses trails in the regional- park open space around the center at 245 Bear Creek Road.
Under the event rules, runners/walkers must wear a bear costume - which is paid for with the entry fee.
Those fees vary between adults and children and whether a person has a suit from previous years.
The Bear Run has attracted more than 150 runners.
Event proceeds go to the Friends of El Paso County Nature Centers nonprofit organization.
