Meet a Westsider:
Nancy Frost

Profession/Occupation... I’m a retired executive recruiter for the oil and gas industry.

What I like most about the Westside is... I enjoy it because it is a very stable area. Many neighbors have lived here as long as we have – 37 years – and most take pride in their homes and yards. People on the Westside do seem to be more laid back, maybe being close to our majestic mountains has something to do with it.

If I could change anything about the Westside, it would be... to have the CITY pay more attention to our really bad roads in some areas. We tend to be "the forgotten" side of town.

A good movie I’ve seen recently is... “Marley and Me.” I love anything to do with animals.

I'd like to discover... a way to have a more peaceful world, but that doesn't seem likely any time soon.

If I could meet someone famous, I’d like to meet... Abraham Lincoln, because he had such high aspirations for our country.

The next time I travel, I’m going to... take a cruise through the Panama Canal on our favorite cruise line that has a small, 100-passenger load.

My favorite childhood memory is... going to Flathead Lake in Montana with family for horseback riding, fishing and singing in front of the campfire.

My favorite fall pastime is... I like to enjoy the beautiful fall colors of the aspens in our beautiful Colorado. Too bad it is followed so quickly by WINTER!!!

Something good I’ve read is.. the story of developing the old mining town of St. Elmo, Colorado – “St. Elmo,” by August J. Evans. It is written in the old style of writing and is very interesting.

My pet peeve is... people who leave trash behind in the parks. We are always picking up trash in Jackson Park. It is a well-used park for athletic activities, so it would be nice to have folks remember to not leave trash behind.

If I didn’t have to work for a year I would... leisurely travel around the USA. My husband and I have seen a lot of this world, but there are certain areas of our own country that we would enjoy seeing.
