Possible record crowd for First Nation’s Day
First Nation's Day drew a possible record crowd at Rock Ledge Ranch Oct. 13.
“We had probably more people than we've had in the past,” said lead interpreter Cheryl Catalano, estimating the visitor total at about 400.
The annual event, focused on the American Indians, included Indian dancing, presentations, displays and vendor sales.
Rock Ledge is an 1880s-style working ranch north of Pleasant Valley.
