Annual 'Ghouls' cleanup at El Paso County's Bear Creek Dog Park Oct. 27

       Volunteers are needed to help with the "Ghouls & Stools" cleanup day in the Bear Creek Dog Park Saturday, October 27 from 9 a.m. to noon.
       The free, 20-acre facility is part of Bear Creek Regional Park, located at 1705 S. 21st, by Rio Grande Street.
       Attendees are asked to bring shovels or other pickup devices. Plastic gloves, buckets and bags will be provided, an event flyer states.
       Also scheduled are a treasure hunt and costume contest.
       The annual fall cleanup is organized by El Paso County Parks, the Fountain Creek Watershed District and the volunteer Friends of Bear Creek Dog Park.
