Effective Sept. 18, Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) has added Sunday and evening bus service to Route 4, which runs along Colorado Avenue to Eighth Street and into the Cheyenne-Broadmoor area.
On weekdays, the route leaves the downtown terminal hourly between 6:15 a.m. and 8:15 p.m. The last bus from the Broadmoor Hotel leaves at 8:43 p.m.
Like the previously established Saturday service, the Sunday buses are daytime only. The earliest Sunday departure from the downtown terminal is at 8:15 a.m. and the latest is at 5:15 p.m.
Route 4 also takes in Cheyenne Boulevard and Cresta Road.
MMT provides a fixed-route bus service and Metro Mobility ADA paratransit service for Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region, with bike racks on all buses. For more information go to mmtransit.com or call 385-RIDE (7433).
