Biz buzz:
Liquor license for Cucuru

The Cucuru Gallery Café, 2332 W. Colorado Ave., received a liquor license last week.
Cucuru is a combination art gallery, coffee house and patio restaurant. Live music is provided on Saturday nights.
Being able to serve alcohol will mean “a lot of work, but I'm looking forward to it,” owner Guillermo Alvarado said. “Music, liquor and food go together.”
Located in a converted house at the northeast corner of Colorado Avenue and 24th Street, Cucuru opened a year and a half ago.
       The phone is 520-9900.
