Overnight closures for Cimarron/I-25 work during week of Sept. 10

I-25 northbound traffic moves past the off-ramp for the new interstate bridge over Cimarron Street/Highway 24 that was a key part of the interchange project. The bridge, which was built in two phases (in fall 2016 and summer 2017) opened on its northbound side in August. Work in the week of Sept. 10 includes final ramp striping and median work on the bridge.

The closures will allow various finalizing work to take place as the contractor, Kraemer North America, moves closer to its planned fall completion of the $113 million Colorado Department of Transportation project that started in May 2015.
The closures will occur between about 7 p.m. and 5 a.m.
