What do you do?
Where do you work and what is your title?
I am part owner of We3, case manager for the Colorado Springs Paranormal Association (CSPA) and a psychic and medium.
What do you do there and/or what are you responsible for?
I do tarot reading, sales and teach various classes (tarot, meditation and psychic development). As a caseworker for the CSPA, I interview people who feel they have paranormal activity in their homes.
How long have you been doing this kind of work (total)? How long on the Westside?
I have been reading since I was 6 years old, my gypsy grandmother was my mentor. I have been doing paranormal investigating since I was in my teens and working with CSPA for 2 months.
What do you like best about it (other than quitting time)?
The people, especially when I can tell them about good things that are coming to them. With the CSPA it is good to be able to explain some of the activity. Seeing people give a sigh of relief that someone believes them is a good feeling.
If you could change one thing (other than pay), what would it be?
I’d like the opportunity to show people that this is not trickery or hocus pocus and have people open up to the spirits around them.
What part of your work did your training/education never prepare you for?
The only thing that I think of is that I was not totally prepared for the running and maintaining of a business.
What makes working on the Westside special?
The Westside is so very full of history, how could you not enjoy working or living here?
“What do you do?” is a regular feature in the Westside Pioneer. If you know someone who has an interesting job on the Westside (but doesn’t live here), he/she might be a candidate for this column! If you know someone who might qualify, give us a call at 471-6776.
