Westside Pioneer's September-October print edition available at outlets
The print run was 12,500. Like the website, the 16-page printed edition is free, locally generated and focused on Westside news. Family-owned, the Westside Pioneer is in its 14th year, defining the Westside as east of Manitou Springs, south of Garden of the Gods Road, west of I-25 and north of Cheyenne/Broadmoor. The Pioneer outlets - mostly on the Westside - include both King Soopers, both Safeways, the Westside Community Center, the Old Colorado City Library, the Old Colorado City ore-cart news boxes, several restaurants and a rack outside the Old Colorado City post office. If you would like a print edition mailed to you, the Pioneer will send it first-class (inside an envelope) anywhere in the U.S. for $3. To set up that service, call the Pioneer at 471-6776. Online, the Pioneer e-mails a weekly "blast" to let subscribers know about new articles. There is no fee to join. To get on the list, e-mail Editor Kenyon Jordan at editor@westsidepioneer.com. That e-mail address can also be used for news tips or questions about stories. For advertising information, Assistant Publisher Therese Jordan can be contacted at ap@westsidepioneer.com.
