Training for volunteers to lead nature center environmental education field trips

Four training days are offered in September for anyone interested in becoming an interpretive volunteer for El Paso County's nature centers.
The dates are Sept. 12-13 (the Bear Creek center) and 19-20 (Fountain Creek). The training is free, but preregistration is required at bcfcvolunteers@gmail.com.
“This class prepares you to be an environmental education program leader for school field trips and nature center events,” a press release states.
A part of El Paso County Parks, the Bear Creek Nature Center is at 245 Bear Creek Road.
