Silver Key: Store reopens; clients sought

Silver n' Such, a Silver Key Senior Services store selling estate and donated items, will have its “grand reopening” Friday, Aug. 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Included will be a silent auction and refreshments.
Silver Key, at 2250 Bott Ave., is a nonprofit agency providing various services for senior citizens.
Silver n' Such closed in the fall of 2007 because Silver Key needed fill-in space during a major renovation of the entire building. The store only reopened recently.

Two Silver Key programs for people 60 and over, Meals-on-Wheels and Home Care, are accepting new clients.
The programs assist seniors, regardless of their ability to pay, who are in need of home-delivered meals and/or home care services,” a press release states.
Meals-on-Wheels prepares hot meals and delivers them to seniors' homes at lunchtime Monday through Friday with help from Silver Key volunteers.
Silver Key Home Care Services helps seniors to remain independent in their homes. Assistance includes house cleaning, cooking, errand running, and assistance with personal care.
